These bears have the arms, legs and ears crocheted right in for extra safety and convenience!

 Materials:

3 colors of WW yarn- MC- main color, CC- contrast color, and color for

     eyes and nose

Safety eyes - 10 - 15 mm or whatever you like or can embroider on

F hook

Yarn needle

Stuffing

Stitches used

Sl st - slip, sc - single crochet, hdc half double crochet,  ch - chain,

dc - double crochet, st/sts - stitch or stitches,  Rnd - round

To join - join with sl st in 1st st of round

Stuff most parts as you go except the head, stuff it after the face is finished.

 

Hair curl - with CC

Ch 8, sl st in the 2nd ch from hook, 3 sc in each of the next 6 chs.

     Fasten off leaving long tail to sew onto head. (18sc)

Head with CC

Rnd 1) Ch 2, 6 sc in the 2nd ch from hook. Join. (6)

Rnd 2) Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around. Join. (12)

Rnd 3) Ch 1, sc in 1st st, 2 sc in the next st, ( sc in the next st, 2 sc in the next st) repeat around. Join. (18)

Rnd 4) Ch 1, (sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st) repeat around. Join. (24)

Rnds 5 - 6) Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join (24)

Fasten off CC

Rnd 7) Join MC with a sc in the same st as joining, sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st, (sc in the next 3 sts, 2 sc in the next st) repeat around. Join. (30)

Rnd 8) Ch1, sc in the 1st 4 sts, 2 sc in the next st, (sc in the next 4 sts, 2 sc in the next st) repeat around. Join. (36)

Rnd 9) Ch 1, sc in the 1st 12 sts, 2 hdc in each of the the next 12 sts, sc in the last 12 sts. Join. (48)

Rnd 10) Ch 1, sc in the 1st 12 sts, hdc in the next 24 hdc, sc in the last 12 sts. Join. (48)

Rnd 11) Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join. (48)

Making Ears on the next round!

Rnd 12) Ch 1, sc in the 1st 14 sts, *Working in friont loops only, hdc and dc in the next st, 2 dc in each of the next 3 sts, dc and hdc in the next st* ear made, sc in both loops of the next 10 sts, repeat from * to * for the 2nd ear, working in both loops sc in the last 14 sts. Join. (58) Do not fasten off MC!

Ear trim with CC

Sl st in th 1st hdc of one ear, sc in the 8 dc of ear, sl st in the last hdc of ear. Fasten off. Repeat for the 2nd ear. Hide ends inside head on the next round.

Rnd 13) Ch 1, sc in the 1st 14 sts, sc in the 5 leftover loops behind the ear, sc in the next 10 sts, at top of head, sc in the 5 leftover loops behind the 2nd ear, sc in the last 14 sts. Join. (48)

Attach eyes and embroider nose and mouth now! Atrtach hair curl between ears. Look at picture for placement.

Rnds 14 - 16) Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join. (48)

Rnd 17) Ch 1, (sc in the next 2 sts, sc decrease over the next 2 sts) repeat around. Join. (36)

 Rnd 18) Ch 1, (sc in the next 4 sts, sc decrease over the next 2 sts) repeat around. Join. (30)

Rnd 19) Ch 1, (sc in the next 3 sts, sc decrease over the next 2 sts) repeat around. Join. (24)

Rnd 22) Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join.(24)

Peek-a-boo toes baby sandals

Size 0 - 3 months / 3.5 inch sole

Added size changes in brackets for 4, 4.5 & 5 inch soles!

Materials- G hook, small amounts WW yarn in 2 colors MC and CC,

     yarn needle, buttons for trim.

Stitches used -

     sl st - slip stitch,  sts- stitches,  ch - chain,  sc - single crochet,

     hdc - half-double crochet, dc - double crochet,

     sc dec - single crochet decrease, dc dec - double crochet decrease

     Join- slip stitch to the 1st stitch of the round.

Sole with MC

Rnd 1) Ch 10 [11,12,13], 2 sc in the 2nd ch from hook, sc in the next 2 chs, hdc in the next 3 chs, dc in the next 2[3,4,5] chs, 6 dc in the last ch, then working on the opposite side of the starting chain, dc in the next 2[3,4.5] chs, hdc in the next 3 chs, sc in the next 2 chs, sc in the same ch as the 1st 2 sc of the round. Join. Ch 1. (23,25,27,29 sts)

Rnd 2) 2 sc in the 1st st, sc in the next 8[9,10,11] sts, 2 sc in each of the next 2 sts, sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in each of the next 2 sts, sc in the last 8[9,10,11] sts. Join. Ch 1. (28,30,32,34 sts)

Rnd 3) Sc in the 1st 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st,  sc in the next 9[10,11,12] sts, 2 hdc in each of the next 2 sts, sc in the next 2 sts,  2 hdc in each of the next 2 sts, sc in the next 9[10,11,12] sts, 2 sc in the last st. Join. Ch 1. (34,36,38,40 sts)

Sides and top

Rnd 4) Work in back loops only for this round!

Sc in the 1st 3 sts, , ch 6[7,8,9], skip 6[7,8,9] sts, dc in the next 6 sts, ch 5[6,7,8], skip next 6 sts, dc in the next 6 sts, ch 6[7,8,9], skip the next 6[7,8,9] sts, sc in the last st. Join. Ch 1. ( 4 sc, 12 dc, 17,20,23,26 chs)

Rnd 5) Sc in the 1st 3 sts, sc in the next 6[7,8,9] chs, sc in the next 4 dc, skip next 2 dc, dc in the next 5[6,7,8] chs, skip next 2 dc, sc in the next 4 dc, sc in the next 6[7,8,9] chs, sc in the last st. Join. Ch 1. ( 29,32,35,38 sts)

Fasten off MC!

Top trim with CC

Rnd 7) Join CC with a sc in same st as joining, sc in the next 8[7,6,6] sts, sc dec 2[3,4,5] times, sc in the next 1[2,3,2] st, sc dec 2[3,4,5] times, sc in the last 7[6,5,5] sts. Join and Fasten off. (21,22,23,24 sts)

Sole Bottom

With CC repeat Rnds 1-3 of sole, do not fasten off!

Hold this piece against bottom of shoe, matching up stitches, slip st through both loops of CC sole and left-over loops from MC sole. Slip stitch all the way around through both sole pieces.

Fasten off and weave in ends! Repeat for 2nd shoe.

Rnd 6) Join with a sc in the 8th [8th,8th,9th] st to the left of joining. Thicker sole recommended for bigger sizes!

For thicker sole repeat rnds 1-3 and holding this piece against bottom of shoe, matching up stitches, slip st through both loops of this piece and leftover loops around bottom of shoe.

Weave in ends and sew on buttons as shown in pictures.

Materials:

     2 or 3 colors of worsted weight yarn

     I hook

Stitches used:

     sc-single crochet, hdc-half double crochet, dc-double crochet,

     FO- Finish off, st-stitch

With starting color ch 4, join to form ring.

Rnd 1) Ch 2, work 12 dc's in ring. Join to 1st dc. (12)

Rnd 2) Ch 2, (dc, fpdc) in each st around. Join to 1st dc. (24)

Rnd 3) BLO! Ch 1, (sc in 3 sts, skip 1 st, 5 dc in next st, skip 1 st)

     repeat 3 more times and join to 1st sc. (32)

Rnd 4) Ch 2, (dc in BLO of 3 sc, fpdc in next 2 dc, 3dc in next dc,
